Meet Jo Robinson – owner of Words and the Bees
“Like most people, I knew from a young age that I was put on this earth to make a difference in people’s lives. Possibly unlike most people; it took me a very long time to figure out how I could do that!
It was while I was moonlighting as a freelance copywriter in my spare time, and searching, that I realised I’d already found my channel. What I was looking for had been right in front of me all along. Answers to most of life’s questions often are; you just need to connect the dots.
With six years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, my heart lies with organisations that make an extraordinary difference to the lives of ordinary people. If I can use my written words as a freelance copywriter to help not-for-profits and small businesses raise their profile, increase income and have more of an impact, I know I’ve done a good day’s work.
I have an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Applied Social Science and I have a huge passion for the human mind and understanding what makes people act the way they do. As a copywriter, I’m able to tap into and apply that knowledge every day to use it for the good of your business and in turn, the wider community.
